CAPE CORAL, FL, July 30, 2007 – Two members of the Whitney UK team will run the BUPA Great North Run, the world's largest half-marathon, on September 30 to raise money for Make-A-Wish Foundation UK (www.make-a-wish.org.uk). Iain Edwards, Whitney UK, Ltd.'s managing director, and Bruce Attree, manager, Whitney Development, Ltd., are hoping to raise £20,000 by running the 21-kilometre (13.1 mile) race.

"Our speakers and trainers have already pledged £12,000, and we hope to meet or exceed our target of £20,000," said Mr. Edwards. "Given the commitment to the worthwhile work of Make-A-Wish our trainers and students have demonstrated in the past, we have no doubt we will reach our goal."
The BUPA Great North Run (http://gnr.realbuzz.com) is a point-to-point race starting in Newcastle and finishing in South Shields. Make-A-Wish will have a hospitality tent at the finish to congratulate and thank those who ran on the agency's behalf.
